05 Dec Santa’s Coming to Town, and He’s Bringing Fire Trucks!
Get ready for some holiday cheer! On Sunday, December 8, 2024, Emmet – Chalmers Firefighters are teaming up with Santa Claus for an exciting event that’s sure to bring smiles and a little extra holiday magic to the community. Starting at 1:00 pm, the fire trucks will be rolling through the Georgetown and Meadowbrook subdivisions with none other than Santa Claus himself on board!
A Parade of Fire Trucks and Festive Cheer
This isn’t your average sleigh ride. Santa will be chauffeured on his sleigh by the Emmet – Chalmers Firefighters as they roll through the streets, sirens wailing to announce his arrival. You’ll hear the fire trucks before you see them – and when you do, be prepared for a festive, fun-filled moment with Santa!
Stop and Say Hi: Santa will be making stops along the way to wave, chat, and even pose for photos. Whether you’re standing on the sidewalk or hanging out at the end of your driveway, Santa wants to see you! Don’t forget your camera – this is a great photo op!
Helping Hands and Giving Hearts
While Santa’s on his festive rounds, the Emmet – Chalmers Firefighters will be collecting donations to help families in need this holiday season. Firefighters will be accepting: non-perishable food items, new toys, and new clothing.
Simply leave your donations near the sidewalk or at the end of your driveway, and the firefighters will make sure they get to families who could really use a little extra support this holiday season.
