Brush 8

Brush 8 is a four wheel drive truck that is first to respond to brush/grass fires.  It is able to get into remote locations that are too difficult to get the large trucks through.

Once the pump is running, firefighters can utilize the front bumper, booster reel, or forestry hose to attack the fire while the truck is driven along the edge of the fire.

The slide-in features a 300 gallon tank and an 18 hp pump. All nozzles have a low-flow feature that conserves water when needed. It also carries an assortment of brush firefighting equipment on it: shovels, rakes, chainsaw, water backpack, and a foam pack.
